Ages 18 months – Preschool
Come adventure with our Tiny Seedlings as they connect with each other in nature. We would love to have your little ones join us to learn, explore and grow!
Story Time
We value literacy in nature. Each day we have story time related to nature and our weekly themes.
Emergent Math
Each day is full of gathering materials which helps with counting, making shapes, patterns and more. We also point out numbers on each trail that we find.
Uninterrupted Exploration
As a nature school we feel that it is important for children to have time to get back to their “roots”. To observe the world around them is the most magical way to learn. You can read books about caterpillars, woodpeckers, banana slugs and more but until you see them firsthand out in nature do you understand the meaning of these beautiful creatures.
Art Activities
Our activities are designed to keep your child engaged. Our art may not look like a typical daycare center. We are more about the “process” than the product!
Imaginative Play
Play is a child’s greatest work. Our students are provided time each day to play. Open- ended forested play with one another fosters communication, imagination, connection and ways to make sense of the world around them. Through this play students are also able to develop balance, coordination, gross and fine motor skills.
Program Details
Nature offers so much to explore!
Our Early Learners get to explore in a small group each day. We keep a ratio of 2 :14 or less. which means two teachers for 14 children. Having a small group means that we get to connect with your children every day and meet them where they are.
Our group meets from 9-2 daily.The location will be disclosed once you are enrolled.
We will have 5 days available this Fall.

We do follow the Loma Prieta Unified School District Calendar for Breaks.
Our program runs year-round and in order to help ensure a stable cohort for our students and teachers we do require for families to provide a 30 day notice upon needing to pause or cancel program attendance.
A deposit of first month’s tuition will be collected at the time of registration to reserve your placement.
